For the last forty years, Jim Downs has been a real estate expert and property investment, coach. Jim Downs Real Estate’s career started in 1977 at a Raine & Horne franchisee for Newtown in Sydney’s CBD. This was the right network for a solid upward trajectory that has continued to set up in momentum.
In 1995, Jim Down Real Estate started branching out into new arenas by launching a productive boutique investment firm in the Sydney CBD. The company aimed at Marketing and Accounting for investors which charged Jim’s drives for real estate as well as aiding the growth of his clients and their portfolios. Jim Downs’ ventures carried on to develop continuously until 2010 when his employees and colleagues bought the company.
Jim also expanded his expertise into investing in and building residential properties in thoroughly researched areas across Australia. Jim Downs’ Real Estate strategy is to build and keep the buildings which enhances his Property Portfolio while minimising tax and sustainably maximising capital gains. His used and confirmed formula for effectiveness is defined by a consistent, sensible, well researched and strategic approach which facilitates the greatest possibility of success; not just for Jim, but also his clients and investors.

I had gone to other places that were recommending properties but I didn’t feel they were trustworthy. There are a lot of sharks in this business so you do have to be cautious. Then I came across Jim Downs, I felt he was honest and has ethics, you can tell he really has his finger on the pulse of the market. Over the years he has really expanded to include to one stop service for his clients including accountants, planners, lawyers and gathering information on other products like superannuation. He is very well balanced about the data he collects and compares. I would highly recommend anyone starting out to go along to one of Jim Downs Investments briefings to educate themselves more.
