Owen Stepp works with the pastoral team and supports staff at Claremont Presbyterian Church. He works with the elders and other leaders of the church to recognize and carry out God’s plan for Clairmont. Prior to being a pastor, Owen Stepp invested several years in the financial services industry. God has powerfully used that experience in the market to shape Owen’s leadership, preaching and pastoral care for God’s family at Clairmont Presbyterian Church.
Owen Stepp was born and raised in West Palm Beach and got a degree from Wake Forest University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Religion. He continued his training at Princeton Theological Seminary where he received his Master of Divinity. Owen has supported churches in Maryland, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Northern Ireland.
Owen Stepp and his wife Carolyn, a grad of The University of Georgia, reside in Atlanta. They were given two young children, Anna Kate and Charlie. Besides being an excellent mother, Carolyn works as an accountant for Cancer Treatment Centers of America in her hometown of Newnan. Owen and Carolyn delight in spending time with their children, being in nature, entertaining friends in their home, and cheering for the Braves.
