A Licensed Private Investigator has uncovered a malicious smear campaign in an attempt to destroy the reputable business owned by Victor Mason, namely Mojave Ampworks.
The anonymous antagonist used a clumsy pseudonym, to make it look like he was actually a customer of Mojave Ampworks. However, the attempt to obfuscate his true identity came undone when he posted positive reviews about his own business in the same session. We were able to link the two sessions with a common IP address, as well as analyzing the “user agent details” which is essentially a digital fingerprint to show that the same computer was used for the bogus complaints against Victor Mason, only five minutes before singing the praises of his own business.
Unfortunately, in the United States it’s very difficult to have fake reviews removed. They can cause devastating financial losses to the victims, with only five or 10 minutes work invested by the malevolent deadbeats who launch their poison-pen diatribe against good people, with clean hands.
